St Aloysius offers a variety of extra-curricular activities including: 

Creative and Performing Arts  

St Aloysius is a community where the creative, unique and individual talents of every student are greatly appreciated, embraced and encouraged. St Aloysius is very proud to offer a range of performance, drama, dance, music and visual arts extra-curricular activities for students to support their development and growth.    

ASPIRE  

ASPIRE is a diocesan program of excellence for students in the performing arts arena. Students audition in November each year for a place in the vocal ensemble, instrumental ensemble, drama ensemble and dance ensemble. Those who are selected attend weekly rehearsals in Term 1 to prepare for a showcase in August each year.     

School Gala Night  

Each year, St Aloysius puts on a school Gala Night. Students are involved in musical, dance and drama acts showcasing their learning and talents. 

Sport  

Sporting pursuits play a fundamental role in producing balanced well-rounded young men and women. Such pursuits teach students to appreciate hard work and training, commitment to a team, sportsmanship and dedication to fair play.  

Students have the opportunity compete in a range of individual and team sports including, Athletics, Football (Soccer), Touch Football, Netball, Cross Country, and Swimming. The pathway for students wishing to compete at a higher level is school, Diocesan, NSWCCC, NSW All Schools and then National selection.   

Debating and Public Speaking

Students at St Aloysius compete in the annual Diocesan Debating and Public Speaking competitions. In recent years, the school has proudly won this competition bringing home the diocesan trophy. 

Tournament of the Minds (TOM) 

TOM offers teams of students the opportunity to solve authentic, open-ended challenges that foster creative, divergent thinking whilst developing collaborative enterprise, excellence and teamwork. 

Challenges are set in the following disciplines: The Arts, Language Literature, Social Sciences and STEM. Students from St Aloysius are offered the opportunity to audition for the TOM team each year. 

Lunch Clubs

Students at St Aloysius have access to a variety of lunch clubs including STEAM, meditation, music and dance.

ICAS Tests

Students are given the opportunity to sit the University of NSW ICAS tests for academic excellence.
