On behalf of our school community, I extend a very warm welcome to our website. Thanks for visiting! May I commend these pages and our school to you.

St Aloysius Catholic Primary School opened in February 2015, catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in the Chisholm Pastoral Region and servicing the local Chisholm, Morpeth and surrounding areas.

So what makes St Aloysius unique?

First and foremost, St Aloysius is a Catholic school with a genuine care and concern for the welfare of its students and their spiritual, academic, social, physical and emotional development.

Our school is an integral part of the Immaculate Conception Parish Morpeth. Together, we are committed to deepening each students’ knowledge of the Catholic story and teachings, modelling Christian values and providing opportunities for prayer, liturgy and service to others.

St Aloysius is held in high esteem as a Catholic school that provides a contemporary curriculum using purpose-built flexible learning spaces and 21st century technology to facilitate its high academic expectations. We believe that our students will best experience success through evidence-based learning practices and that embedding the ‘Four Pillars of Learning’ will provide a strong foundation enabling all to reach their potential.

The school also offers a variety of extra-curricular activities including music lessons from a specialist teacher, optional guitar and piano tuition, choir, public speaking, debating, dance, a range of lunch clubs and sporting opportunities. The school’s unique environmental zone comprising of frog ponds, native flora and fauna, walking trails and gathering areas is used during class for learning and at play time.

St Aloysius is a Gifted Education Lead (GEL) School with architecturally designed state-of-the-art facilities, a specialist Learning Support Team and its own onsite OOSH and playgroup – all in a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment, characterised by positive partnerships with parents and the community.

I hope you enjoy looking around our website.
